Flies for White Bass Tying Class (Intermediate), Postponed

$30.00

The white bass are on their way up the rivers for their annual spawning runs up rivers and creeks throughout much of Georgia, and that means that some unbelievable fly fishing opportunities are just around the corner.
White bass feed almost exclusively subsurface, chowing down on small minnows with gusto and enthusiasm, and having the right patterns in your fly box can make all the difference.

To make sure you’re ready to enjoy the white bass action yourself, this workshop will teach you tie several of our favorite flies for white bass – including the legendary Red Nosed Yeti, our favorite white bass fly of all time!

In this workshop, you’ll learn to tie a number of proven white bass patterns, including the following:
The Great White Woolly
The Rolex
The Clouser, White Bass Edition
And of course the Red Nosed Yeti
You’ll love using these patterns on white bass water wherever white bass are found, and you’ll find that they are great patterns for trout too!
Please note that this is an intermediate-level tying workshop. Participants should be comfortable with basic thread management techniques and with pinch wrap/trapping wrap techniques for tying materials to the hook.

When:  Sat. 3/28 @9am-12pm
